i think protecting your child is an instinct but some parents really overdo it!

I think its normal that parents are protective. If my parents just left me to my own devices then I would probably think that they didnt care. but I agree that overprotectiveness can be a pain!

Actually every parents want to protect their siblings. Even the low profile animals instinct ability do protect their youngsters. It is a normal behavior of a responsible parents.

But there are parents who are over reactive of their behavior that it can choke to their youngsters that may want to have their freedom through misbehavior. Not all times parents can dictate their children of what to do.

Its just way for parents to show that they care for their child. But I agree, it can be pretty suffocating, not to mention frustrating at times.

they may not able to stop but at least they can control them from happening. guidance plays a big role here.
