that is a hard question. parents oftentimes can't tell if their child has been drinking or smoking. make a point of having a conversation, i guess this is the only way to know.

you wouldn't notice your smell but others will surely do. i don't know why your parents haven't reacted or say anything.

definitely you will smell especially if you have been drinking quite an amount. you will get a distinct smell.
