"A second-grader in Indiana pulls off his shoe
and wields it as a weapon, striking his teacher. A kindergartner in
Philadelphia punches a pregnant teacher in the stomach.
An 8-year-old in Maryland threatens to burn down
his suburban elementary school, plotting where he'll pour the gasoline.
Elementary school principals and safety experts
say they're seeing more violence and aggression than ever among their
youngest students, pointing to what they see as an alarming rise in
assaults and threats to classmates and teachers." This is very very sad.. Found this on the internet a while ago.. just thought I would share.

How sad were those story. It is an effect of seeing a radical movie, where some little children would sympathize their idol in a certain movie drama.
In a violence situation like in what Dan share to this portion, I feel sad with this reality that is happened in the present times. How to stop this school violence ? I t is better to turn to God about this.

How to scrutinize this trend of our teenagers life? the irony is the moral values is still taught by the school teachers, and what we have observed at this moment? The wrecked of morality!
even young kids are getting violent. and here i thought it was just the teenagers and their hormones!
Yes, it does seem that even young kids are getting violent too. do you guys think that this is because of media and our environment?
perhaps these kids are exposed to violent movies. even the cartoons today are violent? itchy and scratchy...even the Simpsons are violent!
this is sad news and something that's happening right here in our country! and to very young kids too! who is to blame for this?
Wow... these kids are like bullies in training! tsk tsk!
Yeah, this is coz of their exposure to violence. Violent video games, tv shows etc.
I agree with loki246. Its all about the environment. If the environment is bad then this is reflected on the kid's behavior.
I think those kids are still very young yet they're showing signs of being violent. I think an early intervention would save those kids from thinking negative things.
