Hmm.. For me the difference between is what they stand and belief. But crime is always attach between them. Fraternity can be consider as an organization which can conduct an event that can help society. But gangs more on violence.

think they're the same too... only fraternity sounds nicer and less sinister... :D

There's a big difference  between the two. The gangs have a radical move while fraternity is a brotherhood.

actually there's not much difference between these two. they are both a group of people who share mutual interest.
