Some children misunderstood the goodness or the concern from their parents. Because they thought that their parents are just overprotected. If only they see the real value of a parents concern towards them and realized how important it is. Someday they will also protect their future children from violence and crime.

I agree.  Parents are normally overprotective.  It shows that they care for you.  However, some parents are over overprotective. I think in this case, you should talk to them directly so that they will know how you feel.

a child can never understand what overprotective means until they become parents and have children of their own. this is totally normal and always happens to every one. the fact that we parents should accept.

As a parent , of course it is a normal feeling of those loving  parents to feel overprotective.  Even the animals protect their babies when an intruders harm their babies, much more of the man!

Of course , parents over protectiveness , is a natural reactions to their siblings. They take care of them  so that their children may grow  healthy and have a good values in life..

Expect from your children the same treatment you have given your parents.
