From their parents or maybe they got it from a pawn shop.  Some of these people are desperate for cash and might sell to anybody. 

Hmm.. Gun's all over US since I was born. And no wonder why kids being influence. If we are going to follow the root of this. T.V, surrounding and lack of disciplinary act are the most common reason why our kids got this crave using guns.

there are a lot of reasons why kids tend to bring guns on school. one of the most common reason that they all say is for "protection". while some kids say that this is the only way they feel they can gain respect. but who are we to blame to? kids, parents or teachers?

i think it's more on parents responsibility. parents should always check on their kids before and after school. they should always keep an eye on them and be aware of any suspicious act to prevent problems in the long run.

i do so agree with that! home is where your children's first school and parents are the first teacher. what children see in their home may affect them seriously at school. one thing more, toy guns are not a good toys for little boys. this is the most common mistake among all parents who allow their kids to play toy guns.

In reality that's the sad fact we must accept. You can't just hide them all in order to stop it. Guns are everywhere. If you let your children understand how dangerous it is to them. And its actually depends to the kid if they really understand it all. You got nothing to do if they can't just simply understand it.

The school used to be like a second home, so security was usually lax inside.  But with violence and kids bringing guns to school, we now have armed guards and metal detectors in our schools. 

Kids bring guns to school because they "feel" strong with it.  They either get it from their home or their friends. 

One of the way where a child get to bring a gun in a school is that maybe he got it from his/her father. Maybe he/she is very much influence by violent people and had been given a gun by them.

 Those kids who brings guns at school may got it from a friend or from home. And since the school is the second home of the teens, school personnel should make it sure that every individual are secured from any harm.

some kids are most influenced with fraternities and riots group which on the other hand will lead them to own their own guns. this is very harsh because they will tend to use this inside the premises of their school campus.
